This schedule will give you some idea of how our day will go. As I find out what the students needs are and what they are capable of, our schedule will be tweaked to fit our needs.

8:00 Enter the room and prepare for the day (look at books or Daily 5 choices)

8:25 Morning Meeting

8:45 Writer’s Workshop

9:30 Phonemic Awareness

10:00 Literacy Tub Time

10:30 Read Aloud

10:50 Specialists (Day 1 Art, Day 2 Phy. Ed, Day 3 Music, Day 4 Phy. Ed.)

11:30 Lunch

12:30 Calendar/Rest time/ Readers’ Workshop

1:15 Math Lesson and Math Workshop

2:05 Snack followed by choice centers

2:30 Science, Social, Health or themed activity

2:50 Get ready for dismissal

Thursday is Library day and Friday is Kindergarten Music day!
