Annandale Public Schools has the policy to use two (2) snow days prior to activating eLearning days. In the event that we reach three or more (3+) winter weather days, we will utilize eLearning for our K-12 students. If we have more than (5) inclement weather days, the school board will determine if the days will be made up. Any time school is canceled, families will receive an automated phone call, text message, and email from the school district. Please be sure to review your contact information and preferences set in Parent Portal. If something needs to be modified, please contact the corresponding office for your child. In addition to our messenger system, the district will post weather announcements on the television stations (Kare 11, Fox 9, KSTP 5, and WCCO 4), local radio stations, the school district website, and on our social media platforms (Instagram & Facebook). Our Early Childhood Education programs and Cardinal Care may close on inclement weather days. Specifics will be shared in the winter weather communications. Please know that winter weather decisions are made with the safety of students and staff at the forefront.
