Mission
The mission of Annandale High School is to provide a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment where every individual can succeed.  Staff and students at AHS work together to make that statement become reality.  The teaching and support staff encourage academic excellence for approximately 615 students in grades nine through twelve.  Our district residents' and our school staffs' high expectations for excellence are reflected in our progressive and respected educational programs.

Instruction
AHS runs a four-period block schedule to provide an academically challenging and meaningful education for our students.  Graduates frequently acknowledge the teachers' efforts in getting them ready for education and life after high school. 

In addition to our high quality "standard curriculum" offered by 10 departments, we offer numerous semester credits of college-level coursework on our campus.  We team with St.Cloud State University and Southwest State University to provide courses in the core areas of English, Math, Science and Social Studies.

For those students interested in exploring vocational opportunities, students have the option to attend classes at the Wright Technical Center during their junior and senior years.  

Extra-Curricular / Co-Curricular Programs
Of course, students are interested in more than academics during their high school years.  We are able to offer many extra-curricular and co-curricular programs. Because of our size, students are able to take advantage of trying many of them.  A large majority of our students do participate in one or more activities.  You may find a list of Activities on the Activities/Athletics link on our website.
