Introduction to Rhetorical and Analytical Writing

This is a four-credit class, offered through St. Cloud State University, that is intended to help students improve their skills in the areas of analytical reading, writing, and critical reasoning in various rhetorical situations.  Students will write a reflection essay, a profile essay, a concept essay and an argumentative essay.  The stress will be on the final argumentative research project comprising analysis and interpretation of information, texts, and perspectives.  Students taking this course must be either juniors who rank within the top third of their class, or seniors who rank within the top half of their class.

Research should be conducted through SCSU's online library resources. You will need your StarID and password to log in.
