Interim Principal at Annandale Middle School - Gabe Hackett

Greetings, Annandale Families!

My name is Gabe Hackett, and I am the interim principal at Annandale Middle School. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to give you a quick background of my educational experience before coming to Annandale. My family and I recently moved to the Annandale area after my wife, Heidi, was hired as a second grade teacher in the district. We have a 3rd grade daughter and a 6th grade son who are both enrolled in the district. 

For the last year and a half, I have been working in education consulting. I travel around the country facilitating, coaching, and speaking with teachers, principals, and superintendents to help guide their instructional and leadership practices. Prior to consulting, I was the principal at Little Mountain Elementary in Monticello for ten years. My hope is that my principal and consulting experience will be a benefit to the Annandale Middle School families and community. I am excited about working with the middle school staff and supporting the academic and social/emotional needs of the students.
